Dr. Rao was appointed as a Regional Director for SHMI in Northern India. He is responsible for the overseeing of the local buget and Ministry directions. He is also working in areas of economic empowerment and community affairs in the Northern Regions of India to reach souls for the cause of Christ. He is also the President and Founder of News International Ministries (House of Prayer) Located at Jammu & Kashmir which is in the Northern part of India near boarders of China and Pakistan, his other Church is at Delhi which is the capital of india.
The people who love God & His work prayed together with me and The Spirit of God revealed us a systematic strategy and convinced us to begin the ministry in the form of “Religious & Charitable Trust” we named it as NEWS INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES. We have started this ministry purely by faith. In this ministry the men & the women of God are quite simple people because they love God and his word so the love of God constrained us all together to work for His Kingdom in this part of country we all have put ourselves willfully volunteers and the whole team involved in this work elected me as President/managing trustee.
So this ministry aims to glorify God in all its facets. To begin with this ministry has a team of 20 members at present. Among them 7 are full time ministers still we have not taken any support or raised any fund, we are praying for the same amidst of hardships. The biggest challenge before us is to work amidst many anti-christian movements & Religious fundamentalists threatening at the same time win them for God’s kingdom.
I did not give up from high calling of God and continued to work wherever God took me I remained busy in work so by God’s grace I found life partner in 2001 then I came to know that my father-in-law late Rev F.M.Chaman had same vision and burning desire of the ministry of God. In his time he was powerfully used by God for establishing kingdom of God in this part of region J&K north India, I want to bring into your notice by introducing an international well known CHORUS, " I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS NO TURNING BACK NO TURNING BACK”.
He wrote it first in Urdu language and later it was translated in English this is one of his well famous chorus renowned throughout the world. By his aspiration we made this trust “News International Ministries” N.E.W.S. is the abbreviation of Nourishing Everyone With Scripture The purpose of this ministry is to empower the Body of Christ through the power of the word of God.
