Life-Skills are the skills necessary for successful living.
This is the science involved in achieving the highest level of personal satisfaction through social skills, good health, self-development and confidence in interacting with other people in such areas as family, school, job, and in your relationship with others.
It also covers the areas of leisure, community, spirituality, and any other area of
your life, especially those which interact with other people.
To get the best out of life, and to become the best you can be, it is necessary to have good manners and respect - respect for your family, your friends, your local community, the wider community, and the government, and when you have this, you will most likely find a healthy respect for yourself.
During the Adult Cognitive Life Skills program, participants
will:
• Look realistically at their position in life.
• Discover how their attitude affects their behavior.
• Understand the process that is necessary to changenegative behavior.
• Develop Critical Cognitive Thinking skills.
• Establish positive goal-directed behavior patterns.
• Make a personal commitment to be a law-abiding citizen
We can help you with your anger problems. While we pride ourselves in providing conigitive tool for training we also have a great success record and here are just a few testements to the facts:
*Days:Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Evenings
*Times:7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
* Classes meet above maximum criteria for all Lifeskills managment & counseling.
*Duration of classes are 6 - 2hour sessions to be attended in succession.
*Certificate offered after classes have satisfactory completion.
*All Clients must pre-register for classes to reserve seating.
*Counseling and office visits are by appointment only. No walkins.
