All '12-'13 and '13-'14 officers need to be in the Debate Portable at 2:35, right after school, for pictures on Wednesday next week, the 29th. Please wear a debate tee-shirt.

Let's start preparing for next year! Let's make the 2013-14 year great!

Thanks to everyone that helped with the IronMan Triathlon! Everything went great!

Summer is coming fast, but don't forget about Debate completely while you're enjoying your time off! Make sure to practice from time to time on your speaking skills.

DEBATE.gifWelcome to the Oak Ridge High School Debate Team! 

Welcome to the ORHS Debate website! The ORHS debate program strives to teach students the value of logic, reasoning, and tolerance of others’ opinions. Students learn how to conduct research, write cases, debate, and work as part of a team. We attend 2 - 3 tournaments per month and participate in community service projects. In addition, we host two tournaments each year for the area junior high schools.

A special thanks to the parents that dedicated their time and money to make the Jr. High tournament possible.

Under the calendar you will see "upcoming tournaments" and next to the tournament description you will see the word "map" and this will take you to map quest where the address for the current tournament is already entered, all you need to do is select "get directions" to have directions to and from the tournament.


REMINDER: Varsity students your $30 class fee is due--please remember to turn in your money to Mrs. Lehmann in the front office
