FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR

Our two main fundraisers each year are the "Baby Goose Race" and the "Hee Haw Dinner/Show."
The "Baby Goose Race" is held on the 4th of July at the city's Bicentennial Park. This fundraiser promotes community interest in our organization and is just a lot of fun.Our "Hee Haw Dinner/Show" involves our whole club - including our spouses, our kids and grandkids. A delicious bar-b-que dinner prepared by our Baytown Optimist Club is served first. Then our WONDERFUL emcee: Judge Tony Polumbo takes over. Our club then puts on a very entertaining, family oriented program. There is lots of clean, dumb jokes, wonderful music, and a great patriotic closing. This event promotes not only revenue but fun and fellowship for our club.
