PTA Fundraising Is....

As our RJE PTA, we work to make every child’s potential a reality. We provide enriching learning opportunities, educational supplies, fun family events, and more! To create the family and student-focused environment that we all love about RJE takes the support of everyone!
The RJE PTA will be continuing our successful fundraising efforts as in years past. We would like to review the PTA fundraising programs that have provided our students with the many benefits PTA offers each year!

  • Fall Festival:

This year the PTA will host every Jaguar's favorite event, the spring carnival, in the Fall! What better way to celebrate this colorful season than to attend the "Harvesting Family Fun" Fall Festival! With your wristband purchase, you'll have access to a variety of fun events...bounce houses, petting zoo, games, music and more! The class-sponsored Basket Auction will be a sure way to secure some stocking stuffers or gifts for those "hard to buy for" people on your holiday gift list. Mark your calenders for Friday, Novemebr 2nd 2012.

  • Boosterthon Fun Run, Spring 2013:

This year our annual Walk-A-Thon is moving to the Spring - March 28th, 2013- and is sporting a new name - "Boosterthon Fun Run". As done in years past, students will collect flat donations or pledges for the number of laps they walk during the Boosterthon Fun Run. This year's theme is "Highway USA: On the road to good choices!" This is the PTA's #1 way of raising money for the year with all of the profits going back into the PTA programs and events.

  • Resturant Spirit Nights:

We will have scheduled Spirit Nights at Mooyah (Eldorado & Hardin), Chick-Fil-A (Custer & 121 location). Come have dinner with your favorite teacher and all your school friends!
And parents…no cooking on these nights! It’s Win-Win for parents/students and our school!
Dine in or take out and a portion of the sales are awarded back to RJE!

    Our upcoming dates:

    • September 24th 2012: Mooyah
    • November 26th 2012: Chik-Fil-A
    • January 28: Plucker's from 11am until Midnight
    • February 25th 2013: Chick-Fil-A
    • April 29th 2013: Chick-Fil-A

  • Box Tops for Education:

Current Boxtops Contest: BoxTops Store is back for January!

Be collecting those box tops over the break! Your child can redeem them for fun prizes at the BoxTops store. There will be 3 opportunities to redeem boxtops, January 16, 23, or 30th. The store will be open from 7:20- 7:40am. We will close the line promptly at 7:40 so that all students can be on time to class. If your child must catch the Alpha bus at 7:30, they should arrive at 7:20 to make sure they have time. Plan accordingly!

Please check expiration dates and attach Box Tops using tape or glue, not staples please.

please email Jennifer Bastian at jennybug71@yahoo.com

**FYI: Tyson's and Campbells labels are not always counted for every contest,
but as alwasy, we accept them to benefit RJE!

Please collect the Box Top coupons found on many food, grocery, and office supply items! This is truly a Trash-to-Cash opportunity for RJE with each Box Top worth 10¢! We will have contests throughout the year with lots of fun prizes! Go to www.boxtops4education.com for a complete list of participating items and to register for BT news direct to your email inbox.

  • Campbell’s Soup “Labels for Education” & Tyson A+ Labels:

Campbell’s Soup labels and Tyson labels can also be collected and turned into the Box Tops collection box. These labels allow us to collect points redeemable for PE gear, art supplies, music materials, educational resources, and more!

  • Target:
Use your REDcard (Target Visa or Target Card) and a percentage of the amount of each purchase you make comes back to our school in the form of a check donation through the Target Take Charge of Education program. Just visit Target.com/TCOE or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school and then use your Target REDcard as usual for your purchases.

  • Tom Thumb:
Fill out the Good Neighbor program flyer (sent home in Monday folders, also available in store) with your Reward Card number. Turn in the Good Neighbors form to the PTA. We will drop it off for you!
If you don't have a rewards card, fill out the form sent home in the Monday folders, in addition to the Good Neighbors form. Present it to the customer service desk and they will link it to our account (Good Neighbor #10141). RJE will receive 1% of your purchase amount every time you use your Reward Card!
