Terrorism is completely against the philosophy that Chinese wushu is based on. In particular, ASSA and its members subscribe to the traditional doctrine that “Learn virtue first before learning wushu”. Anyone with vicious motive including terrorism is not allowed to learn sanshou and will be evicted.

We are alarmed to learn that investigators found martial arts manuals in the personal belongings of the 9-11 hijackers, and at least one of the terrorists trained intently at a martial arts school in Florida. They seemed to be prepared for unarmed, hand-to-hand combat. ARE YOU PREPARED for the worst?

We modestly believe that sanshou is one of the most effective martial arts for barehanded combat. The sanshou training experience helps one to overcome his/her fear to real combat and to be confident in what to do. ASSA is committed to helping Americans prepare for such situations. We will provide free demonstration of anti-terrorist techniques as a service to the public and the country. Please contact us through e-mail.
