    Have you found a pet?

  • Put up flyers in the general area where you found the animal, as well as in the local shelters and veterinary offices.
  • Click here to search/browse local lost pet postings (see the Public Postings box on the left side of the page).

  • If possible, have the animal scanned for a microchip at your local vet.
  • File a found pet report at Man and Beast at 210-590-7387, the Humane Society at 210-226-7461, AND the Animal Defense League at 210-655-1481.
If you found an animal and have no luck finding the owners, consider giving the animal a new life in your home. If that is not possible, please use the resources on this site to assist you in finding the animal a new home or placing the animal with a rescue group. If you are unsure, contact us, and we will help you with the process.
