Kappa Chapter
Winter 2009
Kappa Chapter girls are getting back in the groove of things after starting the spring semester on January 20th. Typically, the spring semester focuses around two events: Crown Formal and the Crown Classic Golf Tournament. The chapter will spend the spring soliciting businesses for donations to support the tournament's silent auction. In addition, all money raised goes to support Breast Cancer Research and Awareness. Last year, the chapter raised over $50,000...wow! Other events this spring will include a Habitat for Humanity project as well as the weekly Mexican lunches at the Kappa House. More news to come later in the semester!

Theta Psi Chapter
Fall 2008
Homecoming week is October 13th -18th. We are really excited about all the homecoming events such as soap box derby! This year we are going to Homecoming with the Fraternity Delta Tau Delta. Greek God and Goddess have been moved from Greek Week to Homecoming week. The past several years we have always placed high in the contest.
Parents Weekend is October 25th and 26th. This weekend gives the parents a chance to see our beautiful Zeta house, see any upcoming events and chow down on some good food! We are still in the process of figuring out all the events planned for the weekend. But we are trying to have a group dinner somewhere close to San Marcos and then brunch the next morning at the house, which will give the parents a chance to see our gorgeous house!
Big and Little reveal is on October 15th, we are having a mini fashion show with PJ's to reveal to the chapter Big and Little's! October 23rd is our New Member sleepover! The girls will have a fun scavenger hunt that takes place all around San Marcos!
We can't wait for Halloween to get here! Each year the women's battered shelter comes to our house with their kids and trick or treats upstairs at each door. All of the doors upstairs are decked out in decorations and we have tons of candy to pass out the kids. This gives them a chance to dress up and trick or treat in a safe environment.
