Temple of the Lord

Join me on my journey of giving this temple,back to its' owner, to use instead of giving place to the enemy with sickness, high blood pressure, arthritis, or knee pains ( 1 Corinthians 3:16-17) . I know those of us who are deep ,will say (1 Timothy 4:8) bodily exercise profits little, but the next line states," but godliness is profitable to all things,having promise of life. Join me on this journey of being a good stewardship over my health. This is for me, not for those who have a infirmity. I need to change when I eat. This year will not be " Lets Feed the Preacher After Night Service". If I am in your area ministering ,give me a fruit after night service, not a ham and fried chicken. Do not give me a armourbearer ,who wants to go eat, give me someone who will workout with me every morning,not challenge me at the buffet. Leave a fruit basket,water and juice in my room, not cookies ,candy ,cake or Soda. Join me on this journey to be effective in the body of Christ, not dead in Christ.

Apostle (Dr) Sonia is a 3rd Generation minister in her family. 1st Generation female ,coming from the Traditional Missionary Baptist.At the age of seven years old Apostle Blackwell accepted the Jesus as her Savior and Lord. It was also at this same age she heard the call to minister, but when she shared what she heard, instead of encouragement , she met discouragement and unbelief. She was told quote 'God doesn't use women or little girls in that way, end quote". Apostle Blackwell was told she was to young to be saved and definitely to young to hear from God. She ignored the call on her life for eleven years. At the age of eighteen years old, after a personal visual and audible visit from the Lord while attending school in Houston, Texas; Prophet Blackwell stopped running, and accepted her commission to carry out the mandate God had for her. She has over 28 years experience in ministry.

Apostle (Dr.) Sonia Clayton Blackwell heard the call to ministry at the age of seven years old, but did not heed to that call until she was eighteen years old, after a personal visual and audible visit from the Lord. She stopped running from God and started running to him. She then accepted her commission to carry out the mandate God had for her.

Apostle Sonia C. Blackwell has been in ministry as of March over 28 years, she has held various positions over the past 10 years on the district and state level of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship under the leadership of Bishop Paul S. Morton. Dr. Blackwell is currently the Overseer & Founder of Fresh Manna & Guards of God Ministries.Dr. Blackwell is currently lead planter and founder of Living In Favor Empowerment Center (The L.I.F.E. Center)in Frisco, Texas

Apostle Blackwell is a firm believer, that ever leader should have accountability in their lives and ministry. She believes every Elisha, should have a Elijah, every Joshua, should have a Moses and every Timothy should have a Paul who points them back to the author and finisher of their faith.

She also believes no matter what your title, your position or how long you have been saved, you should always be eager to learn, to carry out the mandate of Ephesians 4:11-16,but this can not be done if we are not willing to humble ourselves and revisit, 2 Timothy 2:15 to study to show ourselves approved unto God a workman that need not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth. April 4,2008 Dr. Blackwell became a student at Trinity Theological Bible & Seminary ,majoring �Leadership & Management. (Dr. Blackwell is a very sought after teacher, leadership management coach,preacher and modern day prophet)

After all is said and done, the ministry she cherishes the most is that of mother to Min.James C. & Min. Joshua C Blackwell, and wife over 23 years to Rev. John M. Blackwell a Prophet in his own right in Frisco, Texas.
