![]() Is it your time to get Connected?
CCF strongly believes in the principle that we can do more together than we can by ourselves. Thus, we are committed to finding and connecting with other life-giving churches, ministries and leaders. We are living in a special season when denominational walls are less important than in previous days and Christian unity is growing. It seems that God is calling independent churches and leaders to more fully connect with other churches and leaders. As this trend of connecting continues and increases, the church will produce a greater witness and impact for Christ. ALL FOR JESUS MINISTRIES All For Jesus Ministries OUR VISION; Reach the world with the love of christ through the gospel of reconciliation. Plant local churches in the needfull areas. Lay a sure christian Bible foundation in the believers. Develop them to the image of Christ Make them citizens in the family of gGod Impliment projects that shall aim at improving the living standard of the less previladgod in the community. The Father and The Son to create the world. The Father gave His Spirit to make us like His Son, Jesus Christ. The Jesus Christ we know is Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit. He made a wonderful promise in John 14:16-17: "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever -- the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you know Him, for He lives with you and will be in you." The Holy Spirit is to be with us forever. He is not known or received by everyone, but only by those who are prepared for Him. The Holy Spirit shows us how wrong our sins are. He helps us to accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour. He completely changes our lives. This is called being converted or born again. * We believe, first and foremost, that Jesus Christ is a soul-winner. That is what He came for, lived for, died for and rose again for. He came to restore the relationship and fellowship between God and man. As to His human nature, Jesus Christ was a descendant of David. As to His divine nature, He was shown with great power to be the Son of God by being raised from death on the third day. Now He sits at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2; Romans 1:2-4). He was at all points tempted like as we are, yet was without sin. Jesus Christ loves us, died for us, reigns in power for us and still prays for us. God Does Nothing Without His Word * We believe that holy men of God were carried along by the Holy Spirit as they spoke the message that came from God. The Holy Bible is more than long-ago events and ancient wisdom. It is God's message of grace and truth to us today (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21). * We believe that sin points one to eternal death and destruction, but God's Word points one to life. If Christ Jesus is our Lord and Saviour, a new body, a new soul, a new spirit await us one day. God's Spirit joins Himself to our spirit to declare that we are God's children (Romans 8:16). * We believe that salvation is to be set free from sin and its penalty, and is received by faith in the cleansing power of the Blood of Jesus Christ. Each man has to accept Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour, otherwise Jesus' death will not save him. * We believe that God's Word refreshes our minds while God's Spirit renews our strength. To be born again, not only must we have God's Word but also His Spirit, mixed with repentance and faith in our hearts. * We believe that divine healing is the supernatural power of God bringing health to the human body. It is received by faith in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ.. All the punishment Jesus Christ received before and during His crucifixion was for our healing - spirit, soul and body. By His stripes we are healed. Divine healing was included in the benefits Jesus Christ bought for us on Calvary. * We believe in water baptism and baptism in the Holy Spirit. We also believe in speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4). All who enter into the number of the body of Christ do so because they are baptised in the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13; Romans 8:9). When you are baptised in the Holy Spirit, God's power will come upon you as it did on the first disciples on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4). When God's power comes upon you, the Holy Spirit will affect everything about you. The Holy Spirit produces rivers of life, joy, love, peace and power to flow out of your spirit for the needs of others (John 7:37-38). * We believe in the Lord's Supper as was celebrated by Jesus Christ and His disciples in Matthew 26:26-28,"While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying, 'Take and eat; this is My body.' Then He took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, 'Drink from it, all of you. This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.'" As the disciples of old were instructed to partake of the Lord's Supper by Jesus Christ, we also partake of the Lord's Supper (2 Peter 1:4), upon the instruction of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:10; 11:26-31). * We believe that Jesus Christ will come again, just as He went away (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians. 4:16-17). AFJM IN BRIEF: All For Jesus Ministries was born in 2004 with Pst. Joel and Maximillah Shiundu as its founder. This was as a result of conversions of many souls to christian faith in Butere-Mumias district in Western Kenya where there was less pronounced christianity due to Islamic religion that gained its roots earliar in 1900. This has been the hardest region to evangelise but God has been seen doing it for his own glory. Our vision is "reaching out the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ and implementing projects that shall aim at impoving the living standards of the less previledged in the community." MISSION STATEMENTOUR : Christ in focused centres, Making disciples for Jesus Christ and establishing them (disciples) on sound doctrine of the Holy Bible. Bettering the living standards of the less previledged in the community through project work." GOAL: 3:10,23 ; Rom5:18) back to God so as to share His eternal life( Jn 3:16) and to avert His fearful judgement (Heb 11:26,27). SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: (1) Outreach (Evangelism): Historically when the Church had not discovered the importance of Networking together as the body of Christ Evangelism was done by individual churches and individual missionaries, individual ministries and individual denominations. Today we can rejoice because much work worldwide is done through network. Steps we are taking to ursher our region to discover the importance of Evangelistic Network of churches: (a) Our ministry has joined efforts with other ministries in our regions of operation without considering their background to do team evangalism, evangelism trainning and recruiting mor evangelists in the field as per the community's need. (b) We are trainning our network teams to learn about the uniqueness of other cultures so as to minister effectively to them. (c) The Foundation is having a vision to create an evangelistic organization for mercy programs that will reach out communities through provision of food, clothing and offering evangelistic jobs to men and women who are looking for work. (d) We aim to increase more people on our evangelistic staff from diverse backgrounds to deliver effectively in evangelism through specific languages as per the need of the area being evangelised. (f) Invitations are made to both local and international evangelists who come and hold evangelistic crusades, seminars and workshops in our regions to target much fruit and equipping them to be established in the work of God. (2) Equipping Program: "-----------so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2Tim 4:17" After evangalism all we do is to equip these new converts for action. Equip is to prepare God's people for ministry. Preparation is done at church level, in Theological schools, Seminaries and Bible Schools. Aman of God cannot grow without being prepared for work. Culturally, churches have been working on individual basis in arranging for any trainning. Today much thanks goes back to God because many Seminaries, theological schools and Bible schools are non-denominational. souls: (a) Efforts are being made to build an equip network of churches in every region which have not been reached. (b) Holding trainnings on how to network in equipping programs with all churches, denominations and ministries. worship, church programs and social activities for them to learn from them. this subject for the equipping purposes and giving them to carry home to read and grow by it. (f) To create a network management team of diverse leaders hence recruitment shall be free and genuine. (3) CHURCH PLANTING: After evangelism, souls shall come to the Lord and they have to be equipped for work hence a church has to be planted as a centre for spiritual soul nourishment. This is where souls coming to the Lord has to be directed for spiritual food. Due to networking reason, We are to plant a church to aplace of need. Jesus one day said to His disciples,"------------- open your eyes and look at the fields! they are ripe for harvest" (Jn 4:35). As we have set our feet on the field of planting churches, we have seen that church buildings are missing in some areas instead what is seen mostly, are Mosques. Can we take action? What we are doing to ensure that churches are planted in places of need: (a) We seek networking with the existing churches in that region especially in pioneering situation. action. (d) We encourage all existing ministries and efforts that advance the cause of Jesus Christ. (e) A research program helps us identify places of need for a church. (4) YOUTH MINISTRY This is one of very sensitive ministry that deals with youths and their life. Youths are very powerful and very influencial in ministry work but on the other part they are prone to so many challenges that may pull them down within a short moment in spiritual matters. What should become clear to us is that , the church must take aleading role in addressing the present crisis facing youths today. AFJM is planning to develop a mentoring programme that any church can implement. We plan to develope quarterly seminar/conference to equip our youth in the area of morality, ethics, intergrity, and discipline. We also plan to join forces with youth ministries world wide who are qualified in providing quality counsels to counsel and encourage our youth atleast once a year. What AFJM is planning to meet the needs of youths in our churches: (a) We plan to start a teen crisis pregnancy centre with other churches to counsel those facing such problems. (b) To get youth involved on diversity management with us in schools, churches and other community organisations. (c) Encourage our youth ministers to start networking with other churche to hold retreats and conferences together, develope apenpal program, mixing together and so on. develope leaders and provide mentor relationships with other business men and women, from different backgrounds. (e) Parents are advised to get involved themselves in the life of a friend of his child who belongs to a different culture; to get to know his or her familly. (f) Develope a church sports leaque for children, get involved in the team and organise activities before or after the games to encourage the children to build relationships with others. worship styles and discuss the difference. (h) To invite speakers from different backgrounds to our church youth functions to speak to them. |
(Kenya) (5) THE ELDERLY MINISTRY (i) Women ministry (ii) Men ministry nation , i have never seen an elderly person who is adopted at nursing homes and due to this they are left just to stay and die poor due to resources to care for them at nursing homes. Many of these people have been forsaken and neglected by their families. What we plan to do to our elderly group; (i) To co-ordinate volunteers from different churches to visit the elderly in their homes with the love of Christ. (ii) To build a nursing home to adopt these elderly and feed them. (iii) To advocate for them to the government to offer help to them. (6) COUNSELLING PROGRAM meant counselor was a peacemaker. Mt.5:9. We believe one cannot have peace in him without getting a friend who care to speak a word of wisdom to his heart. only children of God can create peace in any place. Counselling program is one of the greatest program every local church cannot miss to have for through it souls are restored from there brokenness. What we are doing to get involved in problem counseling, financial counselling, crisis pregnancy counselling, job counselling etc. (i) We join with people who through experience been involved in a particular problem to do team counselling in finance , job training , teenage pregnancy and other areas of problem in a community's needs. uniqueness of other cultures so as to minister effectively to them. (iii) The foundation will look forward to creat an organisation that will offer HIV-positive people counsel and comfort. (iv) We target more people to be added to our counselling staff who are from different cultures at least to deliver effectively and to many. (v) We aim to build a network with other churches that will have a counselling program to reach a large area through churches. (vi) We aim to work with other churches to develope a crisis counseling centre that is in a neutral location and target all groups of people. It is the church to address the issues of economic development because it can provide just like any other institution. This is a centre that is well placed to impart the vision of development to its members to develope an interest of development concern in them. The church is not only aplace for holding people acountable to spiritual responsibility and leave speaking about technical excellence.ALFJM therefore seeks to provide a comprehensive aproach to addreessing our community's economic needs. We feel the best starting point for community development is helping the unemployed and the under-employed become employable. We can also enlighten those whose talents much business to develop an interest in aquiring business of their own. Another knowledge we can leave with our people is to partner with development concerned people in their communities to be partakers of such development such as a desire to invest for a better tomorrow. In this point we remember in proverbs13:22 that says, "A good man leaves an inheritance for for his Children's children, but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous." We shall in future according to our ability offer computer traning, bank teller trainning, clerical trainning, and trainning in other job skills, which will provide people with need access to job market. Our people shall be offered a complete trainning course on enterpreneurship so that they may have a fully developed business plan that is ready to go to any bank to acquir loan for business start-up. What we plan to do to meet the economic need of our community: (i) to set up a miniority business loan partnership program with any bank or churches which are capable to offer loan to boost our people in business. (ii) To network with other churches to develop business skills from them that they had not through creation of joint business seminars of churches. (iii) To team with other churches to create and finance different management seminars and conferances that shall target to strengthen and empower the children of God everywhere of all groups of people to develop interest in good management of their finances, families, businesses etc. (iv) To develop a job training, placement, and referral program for our members and have christian business people provide them training. (v) To partner with para church organizations that work towards church community development projects. (8) EDUCATION PROGRAM: This is a very important program that aims at reviving the ministry of learning in those with less interest towards education due to the environment they were raised in. We shall seek to emprove the learning techniques in both schools in urban and rural. Kenya is still among the nations that have poorly maintained learning institutions in their rural area. This contributes to one of the factors that has assisted in turning away an African child from developing interest towards learning. Bulling among pupils and students is another factor that contributes in low interest towards learning that the Government should be keen at.Disciplene should be maintained in our schools for better performance.Teachers are also lowly paid for their services as compared to their fellows in other nations. What we plan to do to improve education in our communities: (i) Efforts to reclaim good teaching techniques lost just immediately we gained independence due to low pay and lack of motivation strategy to the teaching staff. (ii) To rekindle interest in rural parents to see the need for quality education which will enable them their children to compete those in towns in performance. Parents in rural have already given up for quality education due to distance to good and competitive schools in the country. (iii) To build descent schools, furnish them well to offer a comfortable atmosphere to pupils during learning. (iv) we aim to maximize every child's childhood opportunity in quality education by moulding them right from their early childhood development until they are raised to meet qualities that shall suit job market in their future time. (v) To help that less advantaged child in the community e.g the poor, orphans, street child, the mentally and the physically disadvantaged gain access to quality education. sake. (9) HEALTH PROGRAM Our vision is to establish medical centres to meet the growing health needs of different people in our communities which shall be headed by a medical doctor to catter for the health need of many in communities. The Foundation shall seek to link with leading medical organizations and ministries to implement best ways to reach our communities with medical services. What we seek to do to meet the health needs of communities: (i) To join efforts with churches to start health programs that address HIV/AIDS preventive and care, implement preventive health programs and health plans. (ii) To develop a volunteer medical team that shall serve as a referral system and they shall minister to families in need. (iii) Shall seek to partner with christian health service providers to encourage our members, to patronize them, that in return they can volunteer their time to do health seminars at our respective churches, cities and communities. (10) THE HOMELESS: homeless person is.Eradicating the homeless for now is not easy but we can implement ways on how we can deal with this increasing numbers of such persons in our communities. One of the primary ways to achieving this goal is through partnership efforts. way we are inventing to help the homeless: (i) Develope a mercy ministry in which volunteers from other churches can assist us feed the homeless. (ii) Networking with churches from different communities to donate food to ministries for the homeless people. (iii) Donate drugs and distribute to ministries that deals with the homeless. (iv) Create a resource network for the homeless to educate them on what services are are available within the church and the community for their benefit. (v) To work in partnership with churches to approach housing department in our Government for housing the homeless. (vi) To adopt homeless families each year with a goal to empower them financially to start small businesses. (11) PRAYER NETWORK: Prayer is a tool of success to every person which he can use to gain a breakthrough in anything asked. We depend on prayer for breakthroughs in the spiritual realm during this last hour in which we are looking forward to the coming of our Saviour and Lord Jesus to take us home to be with him as a church worldwide. Formarly, churches have been operating on the individual basis during praying for anything but now a secret has been found of networking together as the body of Christ to reach one goal; that is praying for one another as dearly loved brothers of one body. (i) We are joining hands together with other churches to form prayer networks that shall pray for the world. (ii) To team with other chuches in organizing seminars/ conferences to train our people the principles of praying. WHAT CAN YOU DO? You can become a partiner in the growing focus on this African continent. The opportunities are limitiless.
