Welcome to the Seven Lakes High School Academic Decathlon website. Seven Lakes High School opened its doors in 2005 - 06 school year and is the newest and 6th high school in the Katy Independent School District - located in Katy, Texas (we are a suburb just west of Houston). Seven Lakes will begin its 4th year open and will compete in Region VII with the rest of the Katy ISD schools in the Large School (5A) classification. We look forward to another exciting school year and successful AD season.

State Bronze Finalist!
Spartan Decathlon Finish Year #3 in State and Capture All Three Team Medals!

Congratulations to the Spartan Decathlon team as they finished a great year! The Spartans headed into the State Meet ranked #5, but were able to move up 2 places to capture the Overall Team Bronze Medal to finish the year ranked #3, behind Katy Taylor and Pearland. The Spartans and the Mustangs were the only two schools to capture all three top three team medals. In addition to the 3rd place Overall Team finish, the Spartans captured the Silver Medal in the Super Quiz Relay and the Bronze Medal in the Super Quiz Overall Team. Congratulations Spartan Decathlon - what a great way to finish the season - great job on Finishing Strong!

Top 5 SLHS Individual State Standings:
Toni Alimi - 1st place Overall Scholastic - Back-to-Back!
Erin Flattery - 3rd place Overall Honors

Also, special congrats to Toni Alimi, Erin Flattery, and Lauren Hendrickson who were inducted into the 8,500 club and the Spartan Decathlon Hall of Fame.
Sirus Jesudasen was inducted into the 8,000 club.

If you are interested in trying out for next years Spartan Decathlon team, there will be a informational meeting in the LGI at 7pm on March 26th, Thursday. If you are interested in finding out more about this highly successful program, we would love to talk to you about next year. If you are unable to make it to this meeting, please contact Mr. Irish as soon as possible. See you on the 26th! AD Presentation
