MISSION STATEMENT 1. The John G. Tower PTO is a nonprofit parent teacher organization whose membership includes all parents/legal guardians of registered students at John G. Tower and the teachers/staff at John G. Tower. 2. Our PTO’s mission is to establish a close relationship between home and school by advancing opportunity for all parents to become involved in the John G. Tower School community. 3. Our PTO will raise funds to enhance the educational facilities and opportunities for the students, teachers and staff of John G. Tower that are not otherwise provided for in the BISD budget 4. Our PTO will provide and support school and family social interaction activities, and provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. 5. Our PTO will provide an environment that brings a closer harmony between the home and the school, so that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children. 6. It is our PTO’s belief that the team effort of a parent teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children. |

Box Tops for Education
Box Tops for Education has helped America's schools earn over $175 million in just over 10 years. Tower earned over $3,000.00 for school year 2008/2009. We challenge you to beat our record from last year! Earn cash for your school through everyday activities: buying groceries, shopping online and making purchases with a credit card. All at no additional cost to you!
All you have to do is simply clip Box Tops from hundreds of participating brands (please cut along the edges to make it easier for our coordinator) and turn them into your child's teacher.

Campbell's Brand UPC's
For more than 30 years, Labels for Education™ has been awarding free educational equipment to schools in exchange for proofs of purchase from the Campbell family of brands. It’s a fun, easy program where students, families and members of the community work together for a common goal. Since we have started the program, Tower families have collected over 26,000 labels.
Last year, 07/08, we redeemed labels and our school received: 2 automatic staplers for the copyroom and this year for our new ball toss, three sets of six balls and three mess bags for them.

Target® Take Charge of Education
Shop at Target, or Target On-Line, and for every purchase you make, Target will donate 1% of your REDcard™ purchase to the school of your choice - (we of course, hope you choose John G. Tower), and for 1/2 % of your purchases made elsewhere with your Target Visa. In March 2007 Target donated to Tower $85.61.
We currentally have 51Target Credit Card Holders who have designated Tower as their school.

Our Check Policy
If your check is returned, NSF, it may be re-submitted electronically, and you will be assessed a processing fee of $30 or the maximum amount allowed by law. The check writer is also responsible for all other check recovery costs, including all attorney’s fees, court costs, and taxes. Your Tower PTO cannot be held responsible for orders we do not receive, sorry. If paying by check, your cancelled check will be your receipt/proof of purchase. Cash payments will receive a written receipt/proof of purchase.
