We are an ARRL affiliated club located in Lubbock, Texas. Our club's callsign is W5LCC. As a general interest club, membership is open to all people interested in Amateur Radio operations. One aspect of our club, with increased emphasis, is contesting. Club meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Noble Stidham Memorial Clubhouse at 1110 98th Street. A weekly net is held every Monday night at 8 p.m. on the club's repeaters. The W5LCC repeaters are:

• VHF - 146.840 (- 88.5) / W5LCC
• UHF - 443.075 (+ 88.5) /W5LCC

The club is collecting aluminum cans and selling them. This money is being placed in a savings account and will be used to pay next years insurance premium. due Oct 2008.

Now we need more cans!!!
Please save your cans and bring them to the clubhouse. Please place your cans in the large sacks and be sure to remove your own plastic bags.

Thank you for everyone that contributed. This is an on going project to keep our insurance current. So please bring cans!!!!
