Welcome! to the W5WV website
Our radio club maintains a VHF repeater here in Plainview, on 146.720 mhz, 88.5 tone.
We also operate a packet DIGI on 145.01 mhz.
There is also a C.A.R.E. repeater on 441.575 (156.7 tone). Download the system map here:

Plainview is a small town of around 25,000 folks in the mostly flat southern Texas Panhandle. One of the main industries here is farming.
We welcome travelers, so use the repeaters when you're driving through!

 Our area is famous for having grain elevators. This one is nearby in Hart Tx.
 This is our largest elevator here in Plainview.
 We also see alot of these center-pivot irrigation systems around this area.
