The Panhandle Amateur Radio Club is a Not-for-Profit, 501 (c)3 organization. It's purpose is the enjoyment of the Amateur Radio Hobby, promotion of fellowship among radio amateurs and to work and plan for emergency preparedness.

We seek to provide the general public with educational programs that will assist and encourage them in obtaining an amateur radio license and to aid local amateurs to upgrade their class of license.

We attemp to assist new amateurs in the construction of their first station and to observe the rules of operation as set forth by the Federal Communications Commission.
