VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Manuel Duke, WD5DQY, has answered the call to assist KAMR-TV, Channel 4, with the installation of amateur radio equipment at the facility downtown. This equipment has now been installed and will be used to monitor Skywarn activity and relay severe weather related information to the news and weather teams at the station so the listening/viewing public will be informed of current conditions.
Manuel is now in need of several additional volunteers to keep the station manned during weather events. If you have an interest, would like to help, give Manuel a call at 806-373-2355.

Field Day 2008 planning meeting to be held Tuesday, April 15 at 6:30pm. Go to Field Day page for more information.
Technician License Classes
Classes will be held April 29, 39 and May 1st from 7 - 10pm at the EOC on Fannin street. Day one and two will be for study of questions and day three will be a review and test day. Some pre-study maybe helpful. For more information contact Daniel Blount [KC5HQY@sbcglobal.net].
