We here at " Some of you WERE " is a ministry led by Pastor Gabrielle Lopez. I personally feel that the Lord made us each individually unique. I am not your common everyday Pastor but I believe that is why I am able to reach out to people. They see that I am real. So many of us have been hurt in the conventional churches that there is a bad taste in the mouthes of the body of Christ. It's past the point of the nonbelievers calling "us" hypocrites it's the actual church body itself saying it too. We feel that someone has to take a stand and say something about all the hush-hush subjects out there because too many people are turning their backs on God when it's man's fault not our Lord's. Someone has to touch on the things that the world has taken claim to and speak up about it. So many people would have their hearts made whole if these issues would be addressed in our churches. ( on my soap box here ) In all seriousness though, "Some of you WERE" is about homosexuality and actually addressing homosexual issues, such as How can I love God, go to church, and still struggle with these feelings? The problem I am seeing in our churches is that we just don't talk about it and that doesn't solve anything...does it?
