Join Us and Make a Difference! $45.00 Club Membership Dues covers CPR and First Aid manual and the Certification Card plus the Volunteer T-Shirt. If you are currently Certified in CPR and First Aid as of December 2006 the club dues of $45 goes toward the Clubs administrative cost of maintaining this website free from pop-up advertisemnts and it helps reduce the cost in paper Copies. It also helps provide for the cost of the Disaster Training material and Leadership Training. You do get your dollars worth in Club membership for a whole year for a life long knowledge for any disaster and being able to save lifes. Introduction to Disaster - This online course provides information about disasters and the role Red Cross Disaster Services plays. This course is a prerequisite for all other disaster classes. Disaster Jobs Volunteer Opportunities Administrative Support No organization can function without individuals and team players that work behind the scenes. Support volunteers assemble course materials, assist with special projects, and perform a variety of administrative duties. It's a great way to learn the organization and help us maintain a strong internal structure without which we couldn't offer our many services. •Ability to be flexible, adaptable to change, and accept direction as required, in varied work settings
Community Awareness Team
Volunteers in this position will shadow current CAT members at events/information fairs and receive on-the-job training and orientation. Varies depending on schedule. Events occur during the day, evening, and on weekends, and average about 8-10 hours in length (often divided into shifts of 2-3 hours).
Community Disaster Education (CDE) Project Coordinator
Minimum of 8-10 hours per week and one Saturday (4 hours) per month. Some work can be done from home. Must have computer (Microsoft programs), e-mail and Internet Service Provider availability.
