    Did you know?

In the Unites States, sudden cardiac death from coronary heart disease occurs over 900 times every day.

It is estimated that 1 in every 1,000 adults 35 years of age and older is at risk.

Studies have shown that in order to improve the survival rate from sudden cardiac arrest, immediate CPR and defibrillation is needed within 4-5 minutes of collapse.

Adults are at an extremely high risk of brain and organ damage after 5-6 minutes without oxygen. Children and infants have even less time before damage occurs.

Nationally, it takes an average of 8-9 minutes for paramedics to arrive at the scene.
