featured flip trick- the bigspin
on a scale from one to ten on the difficulty level...this is a 6 ...so kinda advanced. a bigspin is a 360 shuv-it with you doing a 180 in the same direction ok dont even try this trick unless you got backside shuv-its down...down to a science. alright you have to ride fakie(if you dont know what that means...just give up skating now) in the backside shuv-it position pop the board real hard and do a shuvit and a 180 at the same time(the board is not on your feet)by the time the board has completed a 180 you should have turned 90 degrees...continue turning with the board once you have 180'd and the board has 360'd land it...make it smooth...do it with style...your own style

backside shuv-it or shove it ok the shuv-it. alright the shuv-it is the next easiest trick after the ollie. a shuv-it is were the board does a 180 degree turn...there are two kinds of shuv-its...frontside and backside. this is the backside that means the board turns in front of you(weird huh? backside turns in front of you???)ok so what you do is put your back foot is put it on the toe side of your board pop hard and sweep back. with your front foot lead the board to finish the spin...get your feet on there and ride away smooth and confident

frontside shuv it
OK, frontside shuv-its are a little harder than backside shuv-its.a frontside shuv-it is where the board does a 180 degree turn behind you so it's basically the opposite of a backside shuv-it. you start out with your front foot about an inch behind the front bolts with the back half of your foot hanging over the edge. your back foot should be about 2 inches behind the back bolts with the back half of your foot hanging over the edge just like your front foot. You pop the board pretty hard (the harder you pop it, the higher the board will get). Your back foot should go in front of you when you scoop it instead of behind you like on a backside shuv-it. You should give the board just a little push with your front foot to help it spin better. most of the time, the board wont stay exactly with you, it will go a little bit behind you, so jump backwards, look for the grip tape, and slam down on it and thats about it. you wont land it your first try, even if you practice it non-stop, you won't get it down until after about a week. It took me about 2 and a half weeks to finally get it down. So dont get mad if you dont get it down as fast as you'd like.
 kickflip
if you dont know what a kickflip is...you shouldnt be reading this...ok your backfoot is in the center of the tail...your front foot is at a 45 degree angle about 2 inches from the front bolts...as usual pop hard with the backfoot...kickforward with your front foot thus causing the board to flip...then smack it down like a pro!

Backside Boardslide
A backside boardslide is where you are sliding on a rail, facing forward, with the rail going down the middle of the bottom of the board. If you are just starting out. Do it on something about 7 to 10 inches high. Ride up, parallel to the rail, and do a 90 degree turn so that the rail is going down the middle of the board. Dont lean too far forward or else you will stick, dont lean to far backward or else you will shoot out. Think of it as if you were just standing regularly on the ground, except you are moving forward. when you get to the end of the rail, do a 90 degree turn off of the rail and ride away smooth and confident. dont turn off too early or else you will hook your back truck on the rail and biff. This trick takes about a week and a half before you finally land it. Its a really fun trick, even if you dont land it, but dont worry about landing it, you will get it when you're ready. So go try it.

coming soon

my personal favorite trick...the disco flip
ok...the disco flip is a backside shuv it(board) and a fronside 180(your body) i find it easier while in fakie... but thats just me... okyour riding at a slow pace...in backside shuv-it position. do the shuv-it and at the same time bust out a 180 in the opposite direction the board is turning...make sure you look down to know when to catch the board...catch the board high and dry...smack it down...and throw in a nice arm fling to make it look sketchy...for style!
