CARING FOR OUR COMMUNITY
~ HOLIDAY HELPERS
Students at A Child's Place Preschool became Santa's helpers for Salvation Army last Christmas! Our families donated many "stocking stuffer" gifts such as crayons, coloring books, Playdoh, toys, "dress up" items, toothbrushes and toothpaste. We filled over 50 stockings, dressed up some Teddy bears, and also donated 3 large shopping bags filled with games and other gifts.
"Thank you" to all who made donations of small stocking gifts for boys & girls! Your generosity is amazing!
~ BACKPACK BUDDIES SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
A Child's Place Preschool will continue assisting Galilee UMC in providing food for families who qualify for the free/reduced lunch program at local grade schools. Food donations may be dropped off at the church at any time, including over the summer months.
~ BLANKETS FOR JAPAN
A big warm fuzzy "Thank you" goes out to all the families that donated blankets for Japan! We packed up 2 BIG bags full and sent them on their way.
