CAN'T GET TO THE MEMBER'S PAGE? It's probably your Internet Explorer blocking the page as a "pop up" and is the result of a security update to Internet Explorer version 7. Our Member's Page relies upon scripting to properly display the password box. You will not be able to access the member's section unless you modify your security settings in IE7. Please do the following: Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, go to Internet Options, go to Security, click the Custom Level button, scroll almost all the way down to the "Scripting" settings, go to "Allow websites to prompt for information using scripted windows" and change from disable to enabled. Click OK and then, if required, click Apply. This will allow the password window to display so you can get to the Members Area.

SAFETY Act Designation

The Standards and Guidelines Program of ASIS International has received a Designation award under the Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technology Act of 2002 (the SAFETY Act) from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Specifically, the SAFETY Act designation limits ASIS' liability for acts arising out of the use of the guidelines in connection with an act of terrorism and precludes claims of third party damages against organizations using the guidelines as a means to prevent or limit the scope of terrorist acts.

ANSI Accreditation

ASIS INTERNATIONAL has been awarded accreditation by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the U.S. member for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This endorsement confirms that ASISs certification programs adhere to the highest professional standards. The accreditation that the certification programs have been awarded, known as ISO/IEC 17024, is a global, voluntary standard for organizations responsible for certification of personnel. It is a means of ensuring that certified personnel meet the published requirements of a given certification program.
