Welcome to Bellamy Plantation
                                                           &nbs
Hello, and welcome to Bellamy Plantation. The Bellamy Plantation Civic League represents the common interests of the homeowners and residents of Bellamy Plantation, Kempsville Plantation, and Bellamy Plantation at Jackson Farm. We are proud of our community, which is "so close, but yet so far".

Welcome 2010!!!

Please browse through the links at left for valuable information about the community.

Get Involved!!

The goal of the Civic League is to maximize homeowner's common enjoyment of our community, maintain property values and promote social interaction.

This website is intended to promote communication of community interest to both members and non-members of the Bellamy Plantation Civic League.

Those of us who live in Bellamy Plantation are blessed with a beautiful community. It's not that way by mistake. It takes hard work by dedicated people to keep our neighborhood special. We all live busy lives and there is very little to compel us to get involved. What a shame to pass each other like ships in the night. It's time to get involved and re-invigorate the spirit of our community. It's time to get together and get to know each other. If you have any good ideas of events which can be organized and scheduled to promote the social interaction of our collective nighborhood, then please don't be shy. Make your recommendations at the "contact us" portion of the website below. We need your help!!!

Many thanks go out to Jack Rowell for the fantastic sign he made for BPCL Yard of the Month. Thanks Jack!! And a "THANK YOU" to Rose Chandler, current VP for the many hours she put into restoring the Yard of The Month Sign.

Speed Limit Enforcement

SPECIAL NOTE: THE SPEED LIMIT ON STREETS ARE 25 MPH. Please do not exceed the limit, and if you can, feel free to drive slower! Children are playing all around our neighborhood; it should be a safe place for our kids. We've got the VB Police and Traffic Engineering working a traffic calming effort in the neighborhood which will involve monitoring, higher fines and mandatory court appearances! THIS REMAINS TO BE A SERIOUS ISSUE AMONG RESIDENTS LIVING WITHIN BELLAMY PLANTATION & IT SHOULD NOT BE. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN, OURSELF & PETS FREE FROM BEING INJURED BY A SPEEDING VEHICLE.

Report School Bus Speeding

Bellamy Plantation residents are encouraged to take note of school bus numbers and report them to the transportation office at 263-1545 (or 263-1575 after 5 PM) when buses are exceeding the neighborhood speed limit.
