Crime in our neighborhood!

2011 has had a few challenges of crime in our neighborhood. But overall with neighbors watching out for one another through our Crime Watch Prevention Program a lot of crimes have been avoided. For each and everyone who have made the 385-5000 non-emergency phone calls : "Thankyou" This is Bellamy's Lifeline to remaining crime free.

Always be sure to keep your garages shut (or an eye on your garage) if you are not actively in them. As this seems to be the number one target for the thiefs in the neighborhood. Bikes seem to be a prime target. Also, whenver driving by our Community Park make sure that the park is free of those vandalizing it as this is also a problem periodically. Together we can keep our Community, homes and families safe. Please be alert and report ANY suspicious activity to the police at 385-5000 .

If you have a bike we recommend you do at least one of the following:

* take a picture of your bike and be sure to get a close-up of the serial number.

* engrave something onto your bike so that you are able identify it as your property.

Please...

- report all crimes to the police

- report all suspicious activity to the police

- notify your neighbors if you see someone suspicious lurking about

- do not leave your garage door open for long periods of time - even if you are in the backyard

- do not leave articles of value in sight in your car.

- notify your neighbors if you will be out of town so they can watch your house

If you'd like to file a police report online, you can click on the "Electronic Police Reports Online" link on the bottom left.

Let's pull together and keep this neighborhood safe and crime free!

Welcome Committee

Marianne Krop is our chairperson for our Welcome Committee. She greets our new residents with a wonderful goodie bag full of chocolates and information in regards to our Bellamy Plantation Community. The board wishes to "THANK" her for doing such a wonderful job:)
