We Sponsor & Support
The mission of the Bristol Host Lions Club
is to serve our neighbors and help those less fortunate. Each year we provide
hundreds of people with free eye exams and eyeglasses. We are a major
contributor to the Eye
Clinic at the
Healing Hands Clinic. We also provide free hearing exams and hearing
aids to those in need through Bristol Regional
Speech and Hearing.
We sponsor two Little League teams so that our young
people can learn about the challenges involved in team sports, and what it means
to have team spirit.
Each year we sponsor the Outstanding Young Man award at local High Schools with a $500
Scholarship for each.
The Bristol Host Lions
sponsors the Lions of Virginia Bland Memorial Music Scholarship contest.
We also contribute to Lions Club
International Foundation, Lions of Virginia Foundation, Lions of
Virginia Hearing Research Center,
