Services We Sponsor & Support

The mission of the Bristol Host Lions Club is to serve our neighbors and help those less fortunate. Each year we provide hundreds of people with free eye exams and eyeglasses. We also provide free hearing exams and hearing aids to those in need. We are a major contributor to the Eye Clinic at the Healing Hands Clinic.

We sponsor two Little League teams so that our young people can learn about the challenges involved in team sports, and what it means to have team spirit.

Each year we sponsor the Outstanding Young Man award at both Tennessee and Virginia High School with a $1,000 Scholarship for each.

The Bristol Host Lions sponsors the Lions of Virginia Bland Memorial Music Scholarship contest.

We sponsor the Leo Club at Tennessee High School. They meet the 4th Monday of each month in room 2456 at 9:00 am. With school starting recently, officers have not been elected. When that info is available it will be posted here.

We also contribute to Lions Club International Foundation, Lions of Virginia Foundation, Lions of Virginia Hearing Research Center, Eye Recycling Center, Leader Dogs for the Blind and many other worthwhile projects.
