Mission Statement

To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promot international understanding through Lions clubs.

The Lions motto is "WE SERVE"

The 45 members of the Brookville TImberlake Lions are part of 1.3 million members of Lions Clubs International. Lions are located in 200 countries and geographic areas around the world.

Lions work in their communities, and support the global efforts of Lions around the world to fulfull our motto of "WE SERVE".

We meet the first and third Thursday of every month at the Lynchburg Ramada Inn, located on Odd Fellows Road and Business US 29 in Lychburg, Virginia. We gather at 6:30 pm and our meeting starts at 7:00 pm.

As Lions, all money we raise goes to the public projects we support. No monies collected are used for administrative costs. These funds come from the Lions Club members.

Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing unmet health and education needs worldwide.
