Center for Adoptive Families

This organization holds training classes for prospective adoptive parents, as well as seminars and on adoption topics, and provides therapy services for adoptive families.

CASE - Center for Adoption Support and Education

This organization, with offices in Silver Spring, MD and Falls Church, Virginia holds lectures and parenting training on topics of interest to adoptive families as well as individual and family counseling services.

Fetal Alcohol Syndrome: A Parent's Guide to Caring for a Child Diagnosed with FAS from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Dr. Ronald Federici

Dr. Federici is a neuropsychologist specializing in therapy for post-institutionalized children.

Dr. Sharon Glennon

Dr. Sharon Glennon, located at Towson State University, has done research in language development for children adopted from Eastern European countries. She is still recruiting for her current study. Dr. Glennon's website details the findings from her completed studies, and has valuable information about language development in post-institutionalized children.

Inova Fairfax Adoption Clinic

Dr. Patrick Mason conducts pre-adoption reviews of medical records, as well as initial consultations when children come home.

Kennedy Krieger (Johns Hopkins) Adoption Clinic

Dr. Cecilia Davoli, associated with Johns Hopkins Hospital, will conduct pre-adoptive medical record reviews, as well as initial consultations when the children come home.
