Our club has recently produced two pins. The first pin is a reproduction of this year's winning PEACE POSTER.

Actual pin size 2" x 3"

For the first time in our club's history we have designed a club pin for trading and collecting.

Actual pin size about 1 1/4" x 1 1/4"

Our club pin features the claim that Stafford County is America's most historic county. Indeed, Stafford County at one time covered most of Virginia and West Virginia before other counties were cut from the original territory. The pin shows the beautiful and historic CHATHAM MANOR of Stafford County. Chatham was built between the years 1768 and 1771 by plantation owner William Fitzhugh. It saw the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812 and the Civil War. It was used as a hospital during the bloody battle of Fredericksburg in the Civil War. Union troops used it as their headquarters. It is one of the few mansions in U. S. history to have been visited by Presidents Washington and Lincoln. New research shows that Jefferson and Eisenhower also stayed at Chatham, as did Robert E. Lee and many other historic figures. The mansion is open to the public today as a reminder of the history of the county we live in and the relationship that Virginia played throughout America's formative years.

Our pins are available to pin collectors through any member of our club.
