One of the objectives of the International MOMS Club is to foster a spirit of community through volunteering and service projects. The International MOMS Club requires all of its local chapters to complete at least one service project per year that benefits children. All service projects must follow guidelines set forth by the International MOMS Club and must follow state and IRS regulations concerning fundraising, reporting and distribution of money.

Since its inception in 2006, MOMS Club of Suffolk � Isle of Wight has performed service projects to benefit the following organizations:

• Genieve Shelter
• Toys for Tots
• March of Dimes
• Project Linus
• Edmarc Hospice for Children

In additon, the MOMS Club of Suffolk - IOW held a food drive to benefit a local food bank.

Participation in service projects is completely voluntary and is in no way required for membership in MOMS Club of Suffolk � Isle of Wight.
