On November 7, 2003, Lion President Kingsley; Lion Janice, Lion Guy and Lion Ken, visited the Lions
Eyeglass Recycling Center in Roanoke, Virginia. We brought about 1300 old pair to be cleaned and recycled.
While we were there, we sorted about 400 glasses…a fascinating operation..that took approximately 4 hours.
This center receives, cleans, sorts and ships nearly 30,000 recycled glasses each month.
