LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

GET INVOLVED IN SARATOGA BY BECOMING A LIBRARY VOLUNTEER!

The library is currently looking for several volunteers for the 2011/2012 school year to help run the circulation desk. Helping in the library is an easy and fun way to meet the faces of Saratoga.

Parent, grandparents, retired neighbors are all welcome!

Please contact Annette Yurek for times and details at itsannies@yahoo.com or 703-569-4951

 BOOK FAIR 2011

A big Thank You to all the Saratoga families who supported this year’s book fair in both sales and service. It took 45 parent and student volunteers to set-up and run the fair which will bring in over $2,000 to support our library enrichment programs.

The families of Saratoga were also very generous to our teachers this year by donating 112 books to their classrooms through the Teacher Wish List program. In addition, 15 teachers and 33 students won free books through the Teacher and Book-Walk Contests.
