Saratoga Stallions...Running Fast and Running Free...
Hello Fellow Stallions!! My name is Allyson Harasimowicz, and I am your PTA President for the 2009-2010 School Year.
The PTA has many exciting plans for Saratoga ES and our families as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary!!
Thanks for checking out our website. We are excited about it as it is new to Saratoga PTA this year. Let us know if there is anything you would like to see added to it or if you have any ideas for the school year.
Check out the activities on the left side and sign up to volunteer for the events that you would like to be a part of.
As part of Saratoga's 20th Anniversary Celebration, we held a t-shirt design contest. The art teachers worked with our students to come up with design ideas for this year's school t-shirts. The students voted and the winner was a very happy 4th grader!! The winner was announced on WSES - Saratoga's Morning Announcements and sales started on International Night. Only $10/shirt. We also have many other Spirit Wear items available. The winning design is shown on the left.

Fairfax County Public Schools are facing a $177 million budget cut next school year.

Our biggest fall fundraiser is starting! Please make sure to check your child's backpack for your Sally Foster Kit! The sale will be ongoing for the next two weeks: November 10 - November 25!
Our School earns up to 50% profit on all items sold.And, everything is value-priced at $20 or less! Online orders over $70.00 are shipped freight free. Each online order will be shipped directly to your house!
To Order Online:
1. Parents can order online register their child online at www.sallyfoster.com in the student registration section.
2. Just register your child and fill out the “Email Template” form in the Seller’s Section at www.SallyFoster.com, using our account number 908785.
3. Students must register in order to earn prize credit. Be sure to order online before December 7th!

Tell your friends and family! There are many prizes for selling different amounts of prizes - so good luck!
Saratoga PTA will be starting a whole new fundraiser this school year. In February, we will be having our first annual Basket Raffle in conjunction with our 20th Anniversary Celebration.
Donations have already been collected and there are many more on the way. There will be theme baskets for grades and some classrooms. The students will be asked to put together a basket to be raffled off.
We will be sending home a lot more information to keep you updated! So get ready! The Basket Raffle will be held on February 5, 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
Thanks to all who helped make International Night, the Book Fair and Red Ribbon Week a wonderful success! It was wonderful to see so many families out enjoying the time together and learning about the different cultures represented here at Saratoga. The final tallies on what the book fair made will be coming soon!
