Professional Certification
Professional certification is the mark of excellence in today's business
environment. For those with the Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) and
Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) ratings, the continuation of that
mark is required recertification.
Recertification is
accomplished by earning points every five years in the categories of
Education/Experience, Leadership and an Elective. Find complete recertification
information at
www.iaap-hq.org/Cert/recertification.pdf. Not yet certified? Check out the
Certification Application Packet at
www.iaap-hq.org/Cert/CertAppPacket.pdf or the Professional Certification
area of the IAAP website.
