Trinity Youth News Summer is almost here and each of us are busy making our own plans for the summer. We do plan to meet every Sunday during the summer and have some things in the planning stage. So plan to come and be a part of what's going on at Trinity. |

Trinity UMC Youth
Trinity United Methodist Church Youth Ministries.
We meet each Sunday night from 5:00-7:00pm
We are a growing youth group from 6th grade thru the 12th grade. We have bible studies and missions. We also have a great time worshiping the Lord.
Each youth has "adopted" a grandparent(s) from the congregation for the next year. They send cards for birthday, holidays, or whenever. It's our way of keeping the generations connected.
We would love to have you join us!
We are attempting to go "Green" as much as we can. Our environment is important to us, so we are taking orders for shopping bags. They are $5.00 each and you use them in place of paper or plastic bags when you shop. They are roomy and hold a lot of stuff!
Our youth choir is doing great. We have sang several times of the last year and it has been well received. Our thanks to Mike Motley for all his help!

The girls in our youth have once again stared up our Liturgical dance team. Rebecca Warren is leading this group and doing a fabulous job!
THANKS REBECCA! We also have a handbell choir that most of the youth participate in.
As usual, most of our kids are active in sports - Alley Seamster is playing softball for Tunstall High School. Cecily Talbott is playing soccer for Galileo, Austin Moon is playing baseball for Tunstall High, Andrew Moon is playing baseball, Joe Seamster is playing baseball, and Kimberly Johnson is taking Karate and is a 3rd degree green belt. Way to go guys!!!
All our guys are doing great in school. Joe Seamster made straight A's and Kimberly Johnson made the Honor roll.
District Youth Events
District Youth Events - We just finished the first district event at Trinity this month. It was great. Our District Youth Leader - Jackie Orrell - did a great job. We are currently planning for another one in July, 2008. More details to follow as they progress!
