NOTE: PRIOR TO OPENING ANY MS POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS DOWNLOADED, DELETE THE .DOC FILE EXTENSION TEMPORARILY PLACED AT THE END OF THE FILENAME!!!
The reason is that through this website, any Powerpoint files must be downloaded with the .doc file extension and once saved to your local computer you must delete the .doc extension from the filename PRIOR to opening the file to prevent possible corruption. If your computer's operating system is set to "hide known file extensions" you might not see the .doc in order to delete it properly. In this case you need to change your Windows Explorer (or analogous directory tree viewer if you have computer other than an IBM PC compatible) settings to see all file extensions, then delete only the .doc, leaving the .ppt already in the filename to become the correct file extension. This situation does not affect the true MS Word documents, nor the Adobe .pdf files.
