Vermont II Ride Schedule for 2011

If you hear of other rides… or just have free time and want to go for a ride — let others know there’s always someone who will be able to go!

Thursday, February 24th - Vermont II Meeting Night at Brattleboro Central Station. Let this be last meeting where we cannot ride to! Bring on spring!

Saturday, March 19th- Optimistic Pre-Spring Ride, somewhere warm and snow free. Let’s keep an eye out for an opportunity for an early end of winter.

Thursday, March 24th- Vermont II Meeting Night meet at Brattleboro Central Station. Let’s ride to the meeting site. These meetings happen every 4th Thursday of the month.

Saturday, March 26th- Monadnock Harley-Davidson Open House. The local HOG chapter is raffling off a 2011 Dyna Super Glide Custom, see one of our own HOGs to purchase a ticket.

Sunday, March 27th- Vermont State Association Meeting in Rutland. We are planning to meet other chapters from Vermont for a lunchen and a meeting at the Holiday Inn.

Thursday, April 7th- Dinner/ Ice Cream ride. We’ll meet at the Riverside Store in W. Chesterfield. We’ll try and limit the trip to 50 miles. These rides will happen on the first Thursday of the month.

Saturday, April 16th- Ride with the Red Knights. Let’s meet at the Riverside Store in W. Chesterfield. Approximately a 150 mile ride to an interesting location, or just where ever there is a twisty road. These rides will be on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Saturday, May 21st- Skills Day with Mass II. We’ll meet at the Riverside Store in W. Chesterfield at 7:30. Here is a link of their last years event. http://www.rkmass2.org/articles/RK%20Skills%20Day.pdf

Week of June 5th- Americade at Lake George NY. We have a couple of good sized suites, if you are interested in going and need a place to stay please see Joy or Tim.

Saturday, June 25th, Paul’s Ride at the West Brattleboro Fire Station. This is a major fund raiser for our Chapter, if you cannot participate, please consider donating an item for the auction.

Tuesday, June 28th, Patriots Flag Ceremony in Rutland Vt. More information to follow. http://www.thepatriotflag.us/

Wednesday, June 29th, Escort the Patriot Flag up to Montpelier Fire.

Saturday July 16th, Monadnock HOG Poker Run in Keene NH.

Saturday August 6th, David’s Ride starts at the Church on Rt. 5 in Westminster.

Thursday-Sunday, September 8-11. Red Knights International’s Annual Convention. Ocean City, Maryland

Sometime in October. Coffee stop at the Welcome Center on I-91. Last year we ran low on baked goods, so bake, bake, bake and freeze, freeze and freeze.
