Child abuse prevention services

 

Adoption Services  

Provides essential services to children who need permanent homes

 

Children’s Treatment  Program    

Program provides therapy and case management services for low income children and their families

 

Denny Place Youth Shelter (closed)

Overnight shelter for homeless youth

 

Elizabeth House 

Provides housing and support services for homeless teens and their children 

 

Family Support-Kent/Seattle

Provides case management and emergency assistance to low-income families

 

Foster Care

Program provides stable nurturing homes for children who cannot live in their biological homes

 

Harrington House

Transitional housing program for pregnant and newly parenting homeless women and their children

 

Latino Outreach Coordination  Program

Provides emergency financial aid for basic needs to at-risk low income families in South King County

 

 Martin Luther King Day Home Center  

Program located in Seattle’s central district provides early learning for low-income

children ages 6 months to 5 year

 

Our Place Day Care  (closed)

Day care for children up to 5 years of age whose families are homeless or  living in transitional housing

 

Pregnancy Support

Provides case management and support services to pregnant women in crisis

 

St Stephen’s Transitional Housing-Renton

Services to children whose families were living in transitional housing.

 

University District Youth Center 

Provides services to homeless, at-risk, runaway and street involved youth 13-22.  Services include a drop-in center, case management, employment, education and mental health counseling as well as chemical dependency counseling.

 

Youth Tutoring   

Program provides after-school and evening educational enrichment for at-risk elementary, middle and high school children who live in Seattle public housing communities.

 

 

OUT OF KING COUNTY

 

Caring Place- Bellingham

Provides quality care childcare to low-income children from homeless shelters

 

Childspace-Everett  (closed)

Childcare for special needs children who were recently returned from foster care to biological parents

 

The Community Kitchen Services - Olympia

Serving meals to low income and homeless families and youth as well as individuals with mental health issues and domestic abuse victims

 

Family and Children’s Services- Everett

The program provides social and case management to low-income families with children

 

Foster Care Tacoma 

Program provides stable nurturing homes for children who cannot live in their biological homes 

 

Gray’s Harbor Tutoring

Provides intensive individualized after-school tutoring for elementary age students

 

Integrated Family Services-Skagit Family Center

Provides community mental health treatment for seriously mentally ill children and their families

 

Kids’s Place-Tacoma

Provides  day care for low-income special needs children

 

Martin Center- Bellingham

Residential mental health for children

 

Mental Health Counseling-Everett

Provides counseling and psychiatric services for youth and families

 

Pediatric Interim Care- Tacoma

Provides services to drug exposed infants and their families primarily foster care and case management

.

St, Mike’s Tykes 

Program provides quality child care for low-income children 1-12.

 

St Olaf’s Child Care and Early Learning Center-Poulsbo

Provides quality care and developmentally appropriate early learning education to low-income children in North Kitsap and Bainbridge area.

 

Rise n’ Shine Foundation

Provides a residential summer Camp for children and teens affected by AIDS.

 

Supervised Visitation- Bellingham

The program provides supervised visits between parents and their children in foster care through collaboration among local courts, CCS, churches, attorneys and legal advocates.
