 Prayers/Poems
 The Prayer of the Optimist
To be the King's jongleur in heaven is a fit
Reward for those who bring sunshine and
Laughter to the hearts of man.
God grant that I may see the joke of things,
The little things that bother, now and then.
God grant my sense of humor may be strong
To weep a bit and then to smile again.
God grant there be a chuckle in each tear,
To every trial, God grant a funny half,
So when I'm being judged, perhaps you'll say:
"Are you the soul who always tried to laugh?"
And when I nod and answer, "Yes, I am,
I tried to kill my troubles with a grin,"
Perhaps you'll smile and say, That was a task!
But here's the gate of Heaven. Enter In!"

May the Light of Your Soul Guide You.
May the light of your soul bless the work
You do with the secret love and warmth of your heart.
May you see in what you do the beauty of your own soul.
May the sacredness of your work bring healing, light and renewal to those
Who work with you and to those who see and receive your work.
May your work never weary you.
May it release within you wellsprings of refreshment, inspiration and excitement.
May you be present in what you do.
May you never become lost in the bland absences.
May the day never burden you.
May dawn find you awake and alert, approaching your new day with dreams,
Possibilities and promises.
May evening find you gracious and fulfilled.
May you go into the night blessed, sheltered and protected.
May your soul calm, console and renew you.

The Joy in Living ~by Mother Teresa
Joy is prayer
Joy is a sign of generosity
When you are full of joy,you move faster and you want to go about doing good for everyone.
Joy is a sign of union with God and of God's presence.-
Let us raise funds of love;of kindness;of understanding; of peace and let us begin in the place, where we are with the people with whom we are the closest and then spread out. Let us protect this work knowing the important thing is not how much we accomplish, but how much love we put into our deeds everyday. This is the measure of our love for God.
