VBS WAS FUN THIS YEAR!
This year at VBS we went and learned that we, just like the rock stars in the Go Fish Guys band, are Very Important People to God. Even if we don't play guitar or drive a fancy car like they do! We learned that God loves us just the way we are - warts and all!

I don't know about you, but I feel pretty relieved about it! God is so powerful and strong that it would be awful scarry to goof up and make him mad! It's bad enough when Mom and Dad get mad at us, and they aren't even perfect themselves. God could really have it in for us, since we do tend to screw up and He pretty much rules everything!

CHECK OUT THESE VERSES !
We learned that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made" - by God Himself! Wow! But we "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." What a bummer. We can NEVER be good enough.

But all is not lost! God made a plan to blot out our shortcomings. To wash them clean! "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not die but have eternal life." Now, that's LOVE with a capital L! Just knowing that makes me feel loving and forgiving to others - AND to myself! Makes me want to spread the Good News - like the Go Fish Guys!
