FRUA INC Lake Party & Annual Member Meeting

Saturday, September 23rd, 2018

Please join us at this year's FRUA INC Lake Party & Annual Member Meeting ) at Juanita Beach in Kirkland, Washington state from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. This is our region's BIG annual summer/fall gathering.




WHEN: Saturday, September 23rd, 2018 at 2 to 5 PM

WHERE: Juanita Beach

WHO: All families who have adopted, or are in process of adopting, children from Eastern Europe and Central Asia. ... and friends.

COST: FREE for members, $10 for non-members

FOOD: FRUA is providing beverages and ethnic food. Think piroshkis, pierogis and pelmeni!

ACTIVITIES: Casual picnic. Socialize, water and sand activities, playground. We will have big inflatables for the youth to float and paddle in the lake. PLEASE NOTE: NO LIFEGUARDS.

Reconnect with old friends! Meet new families! Fun, socialize, connect, support, networking. All abilities and ages of kids (preschool to young adults) hang out together and have fun. Waiting families, newly united families, families who have been together for a long time all are welcome. We have kids who were adopted from Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Belarus, Romania, Azerbaijan, Taiwan, Guatamala, Ethiopia, China... and more!

Members please join us and have a voice in our annual Membership meeting.

LIFEBOOKING / SCRAPBOOKING / MOMS' GETAWAY
November 1-4, 2018

Join us as we piggy back onto the Scrapbooking Retreat at Camp Huston in Gold Bar, Washington! All, or any part of November 1-4, 2018.



If you missed the last one, you have another chance! Take a look. This camp setting is superb. The food, views, scrapbooking area, (and the possibility of all of us in the same lodge) are just perfect. Add to that complete flexibility of number of nights stayed, or day use. It's a true bargain. You will pass Ben Franklin (Monroe) for supplies on your way........

      Check-in 4PM on arrival day, checkout 2PM departure.


      Eat, scrapbook, read, relax, hike, eat, knit, do yoga, write, chat, eat, sleep. Repeat.
