Making a Difference in Kitsap County         The General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) is one of the world's largest and oldest women's volunteer service organizations. Working locally members support the arts, preserve natural resources, promote education, encourage healthy lifestyles, stress civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding. GFWC Kitsap Peninsula is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC). Our purpose is to serve our community, educate our members and promote fellowship. Our club is networked with GFWC Peninsula District, GFWC Washington State and the International General Federation of Women's Clubs. Through their volunteer service, GFWC members have an opportunity to develop leadership skills, exchange ideas and form lifelong friendship. Club projects and programs address a wide range of issues, and vary in nature. GFWC Kitsap Peninsula meets the third Thursday of the month, September through June at 7pm in Bremerton. Women interested in learning about our club and work are welcome to come. Contact us at gfwckitsap@hotmail.com
