Clubs be sure to enter your best project in the Community Improvement Contest by March 10th. GFWC-WS Convention was held in Yakima, April 8-10, 2011. Read all about it in the 2011 Summer edition of the Washington Clubwoman. Convention 2012 will be held in Olympia. Election and Installation of officers will happen at this convention. Watch for more convention information to come. Fall Board was September 17 - 18th 2011 in Yakima. Members donated items to Rod's House, a safe house for homeless teens in Yakima. GFWC-WS 115th State Convention was held in April 8-10 2011.
GFWC-WS President Kathie Jorgensen officially opened the Convention. Babs Condon, GFWC 1st Vice President was our keynote speaker. Clubs received awards for projects they have done in the past year. Winners are listed below. The 2012 Convention will be held in Olympia.
