Northwest Great Books Institute

WESTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY — Bellingham — June 17-19, 2005

 

Please join us for a stimulating weekend at our 46th annual Great Books Institute.  Book discussions are held in university classrooms. Lodging is in a university dorm. Dining is in the cafeteria except for our Saturday evening banquet (casual dress).  Our schedule allows time for Friday and Saturday evening socials and for individual Saturday afternoon excursions, including visits to bookstores, art shops, antique dealers, dessert parlors. Or for golf, tennis or a walk on the beach.

Registration includes one set of four books, two evening socials, two nights’ housing in University dorms and six meals: two breakfasts, two lunches, Friday evening dinner, and our Saturday evening private banquet (casual dress).  Check-in details, schedule times, driving directions and books will be sent upon receipt of your Registration.

Please Note:  This year the University requires a parking fee to park on campus. Parking permits may be picked up and paid for at the Registration Desk ($10/day).   Nearby street parking is free.
