Any current member of the IWRA with a valid MVN number (Member Validation Number) may vote using the association polling process. Polls are conducted on the official IWRA Yahoo forum website.
Officer elections are open to all IWRA members for a two week (14 day) period. Official start and ending of elections will be at Midnight (00:00 GMT) during the stated polling period. No votes will be accepted before or after the official election period.
The nomination period shall be during the first 7 days of the official election period. At the end of the nomination period, an official list of office nominations shall be sent electronically to all members of the association and posted on the official website.
The voting period for officers shall be during the second 7 days of the official election period. During the voting period, no additional names can be added to the ballot for officers.
A quorum of votes cast on the official forum constitutes the voting membership. An election vote will pass with a simple majority of the voting membership.
General voting is open to all IWRA members for a one week (7 Day) period. Official start and ending polling period will be at Midnight (00:00 GMT) during the stated polling period. No votes will be accepted before or after the official polling period.
Poll results will be officially posted on both the IWRA forum and website after the close of the election period. Posting of results will be done with in 48 hours of the close of the election period.

The official start and ending of elections or general voting purposes will be at Midnight (00:00 GMT) during the stated polling period. The
Greenwich Mean Time Website shall be the official site to obtain the correct time anywhere in the world.
Notification of poll irregularities shall be sent to the IWRA membership and a miss-polling shall be called. A new polling period shall begin 24 hours of the original polling period stopping time.

Quorum:
Voting Quorum is defined as the number of valid polling votes cast by the IWRA membership. A simple majority positive vote of a voting quorum will pass the measure being voted on.

Oversight and Certification:
Oversight and certification of elections shall be by the IWRA election committee. Any comments or problems with the election process can be presented to the election committee at the IWRA
website or IWRA Forum.
