STARS Unicycle Team

The S.T.A.R.S. Unicycle team consists of current and former students of Lawton Elementary in Seattle ranging from grades 2nd - 7th. They work once a week after school and during open gym during the school day to learn, refine, and master many skills on a unicycle. Some skills include rocking, stomach riding, footsie riding, backwards riding, and much more!
The concepts behind S.T.A.R.S. are PERSONAL SUCCESS and TEAMWORK. Students begin by learning to ride as an individual goal and they eventually become a part of the performing team where they learn to work as a team and rely on others for success as a whole.
The S.T.A.R.S. have been a team for the last 7 years and have been performing for schools and community events for the last 6 years. Some of their performances include school assemblies, the annual Magnolia Summer Parade, the "Seattle Kids Have Heart" Benefit Fundraisers, and the Seattle International Children's Festival. Below are pictures of some of their performances.
