DIRECTIONS TO TEAM BATTELLE WORK PARTIES
From George Washington Way: As you travel north on GWW follow it all the way past the WSU Tri-Cities campus and up to Battelle Boulevard. Proceed through the light at Battelle Blvd. and watch for the Project Linus sign board at next available left onto 10th Ave. This leads into a parking lot that serves two buildings with a walkway between them. Park and head for the building on the left, (ETB). ALTERNATES: Turn onto Battelle Blvd either left from GWW or right from Stevens Drive and proceed to "Q" Ave. Follow Q Ave to the driveway at ETB. |
FABRICS IN ABUNDANCE >If the cost of material is keeping you from helping this wonderful charity we would like to make you aware that we have donation fabrics for you to choose from for your project. Just bring your sewing machine to any Battelle Work Party and materials will be waiting for you. Materials must be used for Project Linus blankets.

NATIONAL MAKE A BLANKET DAY >Our Make a Blanket Day at the Kennewick Library was such a great success. Door Prizes were won and Challenge quilt winners were drawn. We had over 6 different projects for our blanketeers to choose from: strip quilts, pillow case quilts, fleece tied blankets, fleece crochet edge blankets, binding premade quilts, Fat quarter baby quilts, and fair square projects. Thanks to all who took a project to make for us. Laura Kuprat gave a demo on how to make a braided quilt. Here are the instructions:Blanket Demo file and a sample picture. Sample
