Welcome to Sumner Cooperative Preschool!
We offer a child centered learning environment and an opportunity for parents to participate in their child's learning experience. We are a parent managed cooperative preschool for children ages 18 months to 5 years, affiliated with Pierce College.
Children
Children enjoy a rich environment with opportunities to explore and grow intellecutally, physically, socially and emotionally.
Parents
Parenting courses at Sumner Co-op offer parents additional insights, tools and resources to assist in their parenting journey. Participating in a cooperative preschool and attending parenting classes provides opportunities to meet other parents, share experiences, advice and information, and to further develop their parenting skills.
Parents are scheduled to work in the classroom 2-3 times a month under the direction of our classroom teacher, Miss Angela. We also have monthly group discussions to work through and share ideas with other parents about normal parenting issues during class time.
Blue Class
Ages: 3-4-5

9:45-11:45

Green Class
Ages: 18 months to 3 years

4:30-6:00
(must be 18 months by August 31)
