What can this sharing be?,
a pleasure for you and also for me?
I might sling out a prescription for health and pleasure,
an elaborate mixture of mental treasure
delivered on a wave of deep inspiration
authenticated by cheerful perspiration,
or a story of heroic proportion,
the human spirit amid this distortion
allowing a powerful choice to be seen
without the hype jammed out from the screen.
I choose humanity.
Some call it vanity and some call it insanity,
but I still choose humanity.
