Emancipation Postulation 3, 4, & 5 Emancipation Postulation 3
So, here goes: Science has revealed that the nature of the material universe has much more of what could be considered esoteric qualities then most people realize. Most people like to believe or imagine that reality is a little more personally involved with us as individuals than traditional mechanistic theory says. Most people do not know, however, that the leading-edge people of discovery in almost all fields of science are finding vast amounts of evidence to support the idea that the nature of physical reality is very much intelligently and empathetically involved with each of us individually. This is not the disturbing information that I made mention of in the first paragraph. This is not even the inspiring information that is on the web site I mentioned. The information that we are not alone, and that we have good evidence to support that the empathic and intelligent 'other' is real and trustworthy is information that I will have to compile and offer samples of evidence for on my own. There are probably others doing this, but I haven't yet found them.
Rupert Sheldrake does very lagitamate science and offers validated theories that come close to fufilling my search.
Rupert Sheldrake(audio),
Sheldrake audio clips. It is not that people must make something different. It is more that we might be able to dismantle and let go of some things that we may be holding in front of our potential and blocking its full realization. We can, possibly, achieve a higher sense of the personal relationship with the intelligence and empathy that is universal and fundamental, but to do so for most people will, I think, require a large number of other people doing it with them at the same time and in the same way. This is, I think, not because of some formula or law, but because of respect and compassion on the part of the universal and fundamental intelligence and empathy. I think that a fundamental need for sustainability is a sense of personal security. The material universe seems to express in a manner that offers a great deal of personal security, in that the 'laws' of nature are consistent and reliable. Logic is logical, reasoning is rational, and what is, is what is. The sense of personal security that comes from the steadfast continuity of material reality and the behavior of the physical universe is a fundamental necessity. Without this sense of security most people would not have a personal experience that was sustainable. Without this sense of security many peoples sense of otherness may be called into question. The sense of otherness is an even more fundamental necessity then the sense of personal security. In my understanding it seems that there could not be a more horrific hell then absolute personal isolation. For this reason, then, any transformation into a state of more personal empowerment must also offer an increase in the sense of relatedness to otherness. Without the two principles being present the state is not sustainable. The state we are in now seems to not be sustainable. I think we need a higher sense of the personal relationship with the intelligence and empathy that is universal and fundamental right now, before anything else. I realize that this is sounding a lot like religion. I do not want to make more religion in the world. The thing that I see about religion is that it seems to always be prescribing to people some form of belief. This use of belief is to me a compromise and a cop-out. To me belief is what I do when I want something and don't want to work to understand how it may be possible. This is not a problem for me when the matter at hand is something trivial, like believing a microwave oven will heat some food. (I don't advocate microwave use much, just realize it rattles loose all the living enzymes in food, so the body then must supply them.) Belief is normal and fine for most stuff. But when it comes to things that matter to me the most I want more than belief, I want to 'know'. When a girlfriend says she loves me, I am very grateful that my experience is that I know she means it. I experience that I know who she is, and that she knows who I am. Wouldn't it sound weak to say I believe she knows me and I believe I know her? I think it sounds weak because it is weak. But if weak is all you have, then go with it. At least weak is something. I don't think that in matters of greatest importance we have to compromise for a weak experience. Neither do I advocate a lie. To say "I know" is not a lie, unless you don't have the experience of knowing. All this may sound like I've gotten off track and am quibbling about semantics, but there is great importance in being able to say what we mean and mean what we say. There is especially great importance in being able to communicate the nature of personal involvement in reaching out to each other and beyond. So, I'm not prescribing a belief. I'm stating that my experience is that some universal relationship might possibly be a reality, and that it may be in our best interest to be willing to allow for it as a possibility. I'm probably explaining things to some people here that they could explain to others better. But some people have a hard time considering the possibilities, so I want to help make it easy for everyone to get a foot in the door, so to speak. The problem with belief about the unexperienced is that it doesn't come easily to most people. Allowing for the possibility of the unexperienced does come easily to people, though. Allowing for the possibility is essentially just not being dogmatically closed-minded. Most people see the humor in the saying "my mind's made up don't, confuse me with the facts." So all I'm asking people to do is be open enough to consider and allow that some things that seem far-out may actually be possible. Now, with this in mind, I do not ask that people assume these things may be possible. I ask that people be willing to allow for the possibility that they may be possible, then look into it and see. Essentially, the essence of transformation is in stepping back from an assumption and looking for what real personal experience of possibility is inspiring. The possibilities I offer may or may not be experienced by others as possibilities, and they may or may not be experienced as inspiring. Regardless of what my ideas are to a person, it may be that observing the process could inspire a person to take up the process for themselves. I hope that I'm not wasting anyone's time here. These things I put forward to look at and see. See if they may be experienced as possibilities. See if they may be experienced as inspiring. If something is experienced as inspiring, but not a possibility, then look and see if there is a willingness to allow that it may be a possibility. If there is this willingness, then in that willingness and the inspiration there may be the motivation to look for supporting evidence that could help it be experienced as a possibility. If something is experienced as a possibility, but is not inspiring, then don't waste your time and energy trying to get inspired. Think up something inspiring, or go to what inspires and then back up. Back up and look at what is being assumed. If you would like transformation then look at what is being assumed. When you see that something is being assumed then you can see that other possibilities may also exist. Actually, what becomes evident for me when I see an assumption is that I do not know that something else is not possibly the case. Not knowing is our best friend when it comes to transformation. Our other best friend is knowing. The two are always present. The experience of not knowing may also be called an experience of uncertainty. I can say with a sense of certainty that I know uncertainty. Now I feel like I've digressed a little. Sorry. The point I want to get to is this: I submit that it may be worthwhile to attempt to engage huge numbers of people in an attempt to transform the nature of our experience with each other and with universal and fundamental intelligence and empathy. The more people involved in the attempt, the better. The real need seems to me to be that a democratic majority of all people on the planet need to be in on the attempt. This would then offer the sense of not violating the rights of people, or at least of using the previously agreed upon method for making a decision. The next thing other than the majority involvement that seems to be necessary is a specific intention commonly held. To say that our intention is to transform the nature of our experience is not specific enough to inspire the will of the majority, nor to offer assurance of a degree of continuity that is agreeable to everyone. Here is how we might achieve an acceptable amount of continuity and also a specific, mutually inspiring intention. The development of the idea will likely also entail the development of means of communication and means of determining a democratic majority decision. For starters, I offer these ideas: First, that we would choose that those people that have the personal makeup to allow for the intended transformation would be the ones to receive it. By saying 'personal makeup to allow for' I mean that these people could experience the specific sudden change in their experienced relationship with others and beyond and that they would not compromise their sustainability. They would not be personally violated by the transformation. We would not be asking for people to save us at any expense to themselves. We would be intending a win-win situation for everyone. Second, that the nature of the transformation might be the ability to come into direct communication with, and/or identity with, the intelligence and empathy that is universal and fundamental. This direct communication and or identity could be at any point in a continuum between slightly counter-normal experience and complete submersion. It could be situation-specific, depending on what best serves the situation at hand. And, third, that the results of this direct communication and/or identity would result in both powers to defend and protect from harm as well as integrity to offer humble, unassuming, compassionate counsel and restraint. The people who underwent such transformation would not be seen by themselves or by others as any more worthy or valued. We would all recognize that they simply had this role to fulfill. Everyone would come to be grateful for the role that was fulfilled by others. Even people that the majority felt compelled to restrain (in order to keep them from doing harm to themselves or others) would be respected. There would be no such thing as personal condemnation or criticism. Harmfulness would be condemned, not the person that harmed. Ignorance would be illuminated, not the person who had the ignorance. The first illuminating to be done might be that "I am not the shadows of ignorance or the impulses for harmfulness, I may rather identify with only goodness. I can see anything else as simply part of an inherited experience." So there it is. The end goal I have in mind. Eventually, with this synergistic spiral of all people co-inspiring and co-evolving with deeper relatedness, it could be possible for multidimensional personal travel in groups or maybe solo, and by no outside means except the relationships that give our identity continuity, and the authority that these relationships have to be honored by all existence. The dead could be resurrected and all pain and suffering could be eliminated forever. We could all live forever. We probably all live forever anyhow in some state or another. Because we would see that it was not necessarily us alone accomplishing anything, we could accomplish all this without a touch of personal pride about it. Pride is as silly as blame. Pride is a defensive reaction. We could all feel good about ourselves and each other with a sense of wonder, and gratitude. My experience is that this is all truly possible. If this is inspiring and sensed as possible by you, than you are probably already actively participating in the endeavor. If you do not think this is possible then I invite you to do some research. I'll try to help with some good links in my web site, and some more essays that connect the dots, both by offering pragmatic courses of action and information to help substantiate things. If this idea of mine does not seem inspiring to you, that's totally cool with me, and totally helpful. I never wanted it to be just my idea or plan. If you've actually read all this then you must really be an exploratory soul. It seems highly likely to me that you will invent and/or discover inspiration that is also inspiring to others. Keep going for it. I want to offer you my deepest gratitude for even the tiniest bit of efforts made. It seems sometimes that I'm surrounded by people with greater motivation then me. Thank you all so much. I love you. Hang in there. Peace, Love, Emancipation Postulation 4 Here are some things that may need to happen to prepare for the actions which the previous Emancipation Postulation essays suggest. A database of people's situations may need to be created. People who feel they may participate in the action of nonparticipation in commerce could offer a description of their situation. Each person entering a description of their situation could do so anonymously, with their own made-up name and password. They could access their particular data and change it at any time. Part of the data from each person could be whether or not they are voting now to begin the action of nonparticipation in commerce at a specific given date. Another part of the data could be a vote on the percentage of the majority of potential participants in the action which should be voting in favor to begin the action before the action is taken. Here's a pretend example. "My situation is that I am homeless. I am able to work but I have no job or money. I have had the idea of nonparticipation explained to me, but I haven't read the material on it yet. I don't vote for starting at the next proposed date because I don't think there's enough participants yet to cover all our collective needs. I think 80%of the potential participants should vote to start the action before we do." The data and voting structure could be in conjunction with the Majority Voice web site or similar in principle, in that the more a thing is voted for then the more exposure it receives. It could be a secure voting system. One person, one vote. No special treatment for anyone in particular. The ideas presented that explain the action of nonparticipation in commerce, and the tools for participating in the work of preparing for the action could be part of a computer program that is residing within multiple servers simultaneously. It could be like one of the many software sharing programs that exist as 'free floating' programs. These programs are impossible to pinpoint and shut down. I will make each of the essays on this web site into documents that can be downloaded. This way anyone who would like to develop the programs I suggest above will have everything here at their disposal to use. So far, this essay has all been about preparing for the action of nonparticipation in commerce. Now I would like to address preparing for the action of altering the nature of our relationship with physical reality. The depth of explanation needed for this endeavor requires another place to have it written in. Hopefully, I'll have some specific material action developed into a plan and posted soon. I love you. Thank you for checking all this out. See you soon. Emancipation Postulation 5 Thank you. Honor to you for reading this stuff. Here is a rough attempt at describing the plan to alter the experienced relationship between humans and the nature of reality. I conjecture that upon reflection upon experiences that are readily apparent to all people as constant and of such plain logicality that it can't be dismissed, (These two things may change in the way they are referred to, but I am venturing to call them 'relationship', and 'uncertainty'.) The majority of people in existence will concur to allow for changes that improve the overall human condition. The specific changes that really do happen may likely be different than I suppose, but the spirit of complete honoring of all goodness and beings will probably be overwhelmingly the uniting factor. I intend to begin a biweekly meditation and empowering-action-facilitation get together. I want to have it going by October 31, 2003. (Well, I missed that date. Now I'm looking at starting a biweekly event by mid July '04.){Hmmm. OK I missed that date too. Maybe it'll happen this year. I was stating specific dates to force myself to get with it, but I guess it didn't work. I think I need to go into more depth about how to plan the get togethers. I'll try to have this next instalment here before May 2005.} The outline for the meeting may be like this: "Love to you, thank you for the good you do. "I've called this gathering for the purpose of attempting tangible material empowerment and meaningfulness for all people. I seek empowerment and meaningfulness that is sustainable. "I proceed here with these assumptions, -I know a mandate for continuity in the perceived material world. -To satisfy this mandate another person's presence and concurrence offers strong satisfaction. -When another person is with me and I know knowing them, then a shared experience with them is known as more real. -By employing the potential power of collective intention, we can be allowing for the possibility that we might share an experience that is beyond normal. "I suggest that a material reality we attempt to connect with is personal force fields and levitation. I also suggest that we do so intending that it could only occur in a manner fully honoring all good and all beings. "Let's all focus on materially present experiences while we unite our intentions. The materially present experiences can be coolness as we inhale and warmth as we exhale. The experience of coolness can be sensed as going up into the head. The experience of warmth can be sensed going down into the abdomen. We can think the words "cool up" as we inhale, and the words "warm down" as we exhale. This can aid focus of intent. "There is another reality to simultaneously focus on while we breathe. As we inhale, the reality is uncertainty. Subjectivity logically results in complete uncertainty. The nature of this uncertainty is so complete that we can easily question personal identity, or any presumption. We can suppose that personal identity is only realities that are perfectly sustainable. While we exhale the reality to focus on is relationship. We can be supposing that the relationships we can know can become magnificently more profound, personal, and inheartening then we might even dare to imagine at present. "To help focus on these two realities we can think the words, "calming uncertainty" while we inhale and feel the cooling up. We can think the words, "inheartening companions", while we exhale and feel the warmth deepening. "While we do the focused breathing we will be assuming the collective intent for material experience of personal force fields and levitation that is shared. Perhaps the specific material intention will change or evolve, but for now it's a personal force field and levitation. There is great logic in this intention. If people can have a force field to protect them from harm then we can eliminate huge amounts of unjust domination. So for the next one third of an hour participants will do this focused breath and intention." {participate for one third of an hour} "Thank you for participation."
