Sustainable Nutrition and Health Nutrition:Fresh raw, (or lightly steamed) organic fruits and vegetables.(ideally 70% of intake) A persons weight in pounds, divided in half,is roughly how many ounces of water, (hopefully filtered or spring water) to drink each day. At night I keep water by my bed so I can drink when ever I wake up. Goat milk products (go to this link and then to the FAQ page, then scroll down to gote milk.) are a great way to get protein, because goat milk is the most in harmony with the bodys chemistry. The healthiest oils are hemp, then flax seed, then (for cooking) olive and coconut. The least harmful of all other oils is canolla. Its very highly recommended to get organic first cold pressed oils too. Most fish is healthy, but some farm raised fish is full of unnatural things, or may be genetically altered. Wild salmon and sardines have the best oils. Green food is of primary importance. Hearty greens like chard, or collard several times a week do a lot of good. That's all I can think of for now. Overall health: Maybe I have to admit to myself the uncertanty I have about everything, and that the behavior of physical reality seems more faithfull then my own behaviors. Maybe my behaviors can be changed and maybe thay cannot. Maybe what I know as phisical reality must be related to differently in order to bring about the fundimental changes necessary for sustainability. If the relationship with physical reality must be altered maybe this can happen, but perhaps to maintain justice we must do it together and democraticaly. I do truly love you. You are a human that is reading this. I care about you not knowing harm. |
