Tumaini Nursery School
Beginning in January 2006, 15 orphans started at Tumaini Nursery School learning the basics in Swahili and English. There are now 25 students aged 3 to 6 at the school learning from their teachers Deonida Aloyce and Sylvester Nestery. The school provides free education from 8:00 to 11:00 to the group that is a mix of orphans and other children. The plan is to construct a school beginning in 2007 to allow this class to continue their education. The school will also hopefully have dormitories where older students can live.

 Praxidia Byabato Age 3 She does not know what she wants to do when she grows up. When she is at home she sleeps and plays. |
 Mereciana Laurent Age 6 Wants to be a doctor when she grows up When she goes home she helps around the house (cleaning) and then she studies. |
 Lestuta Peter Age 5 She wants to be a nurse when she grows up. When she goes home she plays. |
 Nasra Biyemba Age 6 She wants to be a nurse when she grows up. When she goes home she plays and sleeps and then plays some more. |
 Veronica Lucas Age 5 She wants to be a teacher when she grows up. When she goes home she helps with jobs at home, like cleaning and likes to play ball. |
Joseph Leonard Age 5 He wants to be a police officer when he grows up When he is at home he likes to play, especially pretending to be the police. |
Neema Constantine Age 3 She wants to be a nurse when she grows up. When she is at home she studies, plays with friends and likes singing. |
